咸阳博物馆是全国著名博物馆之一，1962年正式开放。馆址系1371年（明洪武四年）所建的文庙。全馆现有九个陈列室，一个碑廊，陈列面积共一千一百平方米，展出文物六千余件，陈列内容以秦汉历史文物为主，还有部分宗教文物和碑石墓志等。
