新郑市中等专业学校是1996年经河南省教育厅批准成立的一所公办职业学校，由新郑市人民政府主办、新郑市教育体育局主管。建校20年来，学校由小到大，逐渐发展成为集普通中专教育、大专教育、成人教育为一体的综合性学校，学校实行规范化管理，以学历教育和非学历教育相结合，职业教育和职业技术资格培训相结合，走出了中等职业教育发展的新路。2005年被国家教育部命名为“国家级重点中等专业学校”。
